At the end of 2023, the total market value of the Foundation’s investment portfolio was $326,491,183, representing a decrease of $1.5 million over the prior year.

Grants made during 2023 totaled $12,356,114, which represented a 16.5 percent decrease compared to 2022’s $14,810,403. The Foundation makes multi-year commitments to its grantees. At the end of 2023, outstanding grant commitments totaled $5,440,089. These payments will be made during the course of the next five years.

The Foundation’s auditors, Sisterson & Company, have provided financial statements which conform to generally accepted accounting principles. These are available upon request.
